I just finished helping another seller. Her name was Mary, a 77 year old that wanted more than anything to down grade into a smaller home that she can enjoy and manage. I was the forth (yes, forth) agent that she signed with. The previous 3 agents were not able to deliver the results that Mary wanted and she was pretty clear up front that she expected me to hustle, get out there and sell her home.
Well, she was pretty excited about how I did. She was pretty impressed at how often people were seeing her home, over 40 showings. And in 65 days of starting, we accepted the second offer. Now 65 days doesn’t seem very fast, but it beat the neighborhood average of 132 days and sure looks better than the 435 days to took to sell her home between 4 agents.
Now Mary is packing up and having garage sales and we’ve removed all the contingencies, all that remains is to sign and record. Mary and I are finishing up on her transition to her new home.
