Every year I start my 5k running season on Thanksgiving and end when I’m sweating before the race begins. I’ve decided to start my season just a bit earlier this year. I’m going to run on October 26th, a 5k run, just the kind a like, a good workout, but not too much that I need oxygen at the end. I was searching for a nice race and found that the First Responders Race to benefit Arizona Autism Support and Special Olympics. Two very worthy causes. I’m posting this out here to challenge you to join in the fun and support this group. You do not have to be a fitness buff (which I am clearly not) to join in the fun. The running community is a great group, always open to new people and very supportive of everyone. So go ahead, sign up, post a comment that you will be there, would love to meet up with you and cheer you on.
