2009 Phoenix Real Estate Overview

Each year, I work on my business plan and I do a review of the previous year to help me create direction for the next year.  Here are some of the stats I collect that might be of interest.

In 2009, there were:

91,651 Residential Real Estate Sales
Average Days on Market was 108 Days
$87.63 per sq ft [...]

December 2009 Market Analysis

My friends over at the Cromford Report have posted their December 2009 Market Analysis in the members only section and I’m posting the high-lights here for your enjoyment and monthly statistical real estate fix:

Phoenix Rank as a Safe City

Forbes.com published their list of the 40 safest cities in America.  They took the 40 largest cities and looked at data from crime stats, work-place deaths, traffic deaths, and natural disaster risk .  While we weren’t the safest city out there, we did come in at 14th, just above Chicago.
