Here are some of the stats I collect that might be of interest. In 2009, there were: 91,651 Residential Real Estate Sales My friends over at the Cromford Report have posted their December 2009 Market Analysis in the members only section and I’m posting the high-lights here for your enjoyment and monthly statistical real estate fix: Annual sales have risen to 92,435, a number that we haven’t seen since June 2006. Forbes.com published their list of the 40 safest cities in America. They took the 40 largest cities and looked at data from crime stats, work-place deaths, traffic deaths, and natural disaster risk . While we weren’t the safest city out there, we did come in at 14th, just above Chicago.
