Stetson Valley

Recently, we purchased a new house.  With all the business that we have and the need to be home more often (baby girl), we need a slightly larger house to handly the offices, play rooms and living.  After searching for awhile, we settled on a new development, Stetson Valley.  This new community has several builders and is more orientated towards the family.  We have two parks within 3 blocks of the house.  Lots of grassy areas.  A large walking trail around the development.  It was everythine we needed, and since we built the house, I was able to add needed structured wiring and electrical where I wanted without destruction being involved.

This is really a nice community and the area is still growing.  We have a new Safeway complex going in at 43rd and Happy Valley.  Two City of Phoenix parks going in, a new elementry school is planned.  I love the fact that one of the parks close to the house is a water park, it’s just the write side for the kids in the neighborhood to enjoy.  There is also another park just a block over that has a jungle gym that is better than anything I grew up with.  Tara and I make a weekly trip and spend as much time as the heat will currently allow.  She loves learning to go up and down on the stairs and exploring the area.  I enjoy that it is covered and clean.

I also enjoy the trails that run along and throughout the development, giving me a place to run and not get bored and someplace to take the family on a walk.  The neighbors have been great and my wife enjoys the organized bunko groups.  It’s nice to have a nice community feeling like this.

Here are some photos I took today:
