Monday, 15th of September 2008 at 04:00:27 PMSeems like everytime I’m in downtown Glendale for lunch, my lunch partner or group suggests Bitzee Mama’s. This place is classic hole-in-the-wall type of resturant. A family owned place that specalizes in authentic Mexican food with an American influence.
My only concern with eating at this resturant is that you can never predict if they will be on their game or running really slow. My last visit, it was a double edged sword, my lunch partner and I were able to cover tons of ground in a long over due get together, which probably made the wait more bearable than normal. But we were both late for our next meetings because service was so slow.
The cost is reasonable, about $10 per person, the food is good and authentic, just go in the door with low expectations of service and you will probably walk out rather happy.
