So I’ve been doing a lot of CSS over the past couple of weeks, I helped my wife build her company website. I’ve been out looking for a really cool theme for my blog, but wasn’t able to locate anything that was ‘me’, so I started to tinker under the hood and next thing I know, I’ve pretty much re-wrote the entire CSS, with the exceptions of the Forms (which is another challenge to over come).
I even went so far as to hike Thunderbird Park to get a good shot of the part of the valley that I work in. Taking a photo and cropping it to the dimensions that make sense for this theme. So far I like the result that I have accomplished. I know that I will have much more work to do on the formatting of this blog, but this is a pretty good start in my mind. I’ll commit the work to subversion as a the base and start going forward from there.
Leave me comments (comments is a bit off, but still works) of what you think and the next project is to add some really cool plugins. If you know of any, please share.
Update: After some time, I switched over to Freicurv 2.0, which may look familiar since the famous Jay Thompson also uses this theme. I did some modifications, but not enough to call it my own, yet.
