Arizona Department of Real Estate (ADRE), as part of their charter to protect the public, has a Public Records search that will allow you to look up any Real Estate agent or brokerage allowed to practice in Arizona. This is great, it gives you an opportunity to verify your agent and to see if they have any complaints or disciplinary action.
Recently, they added education tracking to their database. This streamlines the renewal process for agents since we are required to have training as part of our renewal process. Not every agent will keep this up to date, but for those that do, you can see how often they get training and the topics that they get training in. Check out my page.
I’ve set the goal to achieve 3 CE units per month this year (really not that hard since I average 24+ a year currently). The state madates 24 in a two year period. I’ve also added it to my list to keep the ADRE updated as I go.
You can check out other agents or brokers by using the ADRE Search screen. I recommend that you do a search on anyone that you are considering doing a very important transaction with (like Real Estate).
