A Gem of a Listing

Okay, so I was looking through some listings for a client that wanted a theater room, and this one was just too good to pass up.  This is why, as the seller, it’s important to read and proof everything that goes out on the MLS…

So the description reads partially like this:

…includes high tech movie theater room with 100 sq ft screen…

100 sq ft screen???  Wow, that’s impressive, I’m thinking this is great, I’m converting it in my head to inches, but then I wonder, is that 4:3 or 16:9 ratio.  Why wouldn’t they just give the diagonal inch measurement that is the industry standard?  Hey, what type of sound system is there?  Lots of questions that make it difficult to want to share with my client, so let’s look at the pictures:

100 sq FOOT screen

So here is the 100 sq Ft Screen, it doesn’t quite look 100 sq ft, at least not 10 x 10.

This photo was a crack up to me as well:

Makes me want to buy this home.

Makes me want to buy this home.

Yes, that is very blurry.  Sorry Mr. Seller, we’re going to pass.
