Monday, 21st of December 2009 at 11:19:26 AMRunning Masters will be holding their 20th Midnight Madness to run in the 2010 year, actually since the race starts at 10:30 pm and only goes 3 miles, you’ll technically be finishing the 2009 year with a run. I missed this race last year since I and my entire family was under the weather, but hoping to return this year.
This is a great event, I actually like to run at night instead of first thing in the morning. The course is dark, the people are a buzz with the change and they feed you chilli and cornbread afterwards. The race is held at Rose Mofford Sports Park, an easy location off of I-17 and Peoria Ave. Register to join me for a little Midnight Madness.
