2008 Super Meme continues

Well, I’ve been challenged with disclosing additional information about myself by Dru Bloomfield.  Guess I better step up to that challenge or forever hear about it each time Dru and I get together, ARMLS committee meetings, socials, negotiations.  It just won’t be pleasent….

What is a meme, well, accourding to some quick google research, it’s a cultural nugget of information that evolves.  Well, not really sure how that applies here, but here are the answers to the questions posed.

1. Who is your favorite musical artist? (post a youtube video)
With over 4,000 songs in my iTunes library, this is really hard to narrow down…  I think I’m going to pass on this question and maybe post something later.

2. Who is your favorite artist (post a flicker photo)

Overall, I would have to say Michelango, accomplished in painting, sultures and poetries, he is definitly an artist.

3. Who is your favorite blogger?

This is a hard one since I subscribe to so many bloggers.  I read about Real Estate, Local interests, Ruby on Rails and even my clients.  But the one I seem most interested in reading all the time is one suggested by Google Reader, a local Wedding Photographer, Melissa Jill.  I enjoy the photos and the commentary that she provides and the glimpses in her life.  And the photos are great, so if you need a photographer, check her out.

4. If you could meet anyone (alive or dead), who would it be and what is the most interesting thing about them?

Can I pick both??  For Alive, I would pick Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple Computers.  I am facinated by his refusal to accept things as they are and instead works to how they should be.  For someone that is dead, I would most like to meet Abraham Lincoln, our 16th President, for his wisdom and patience in overcoming a very difficult time on our history.

5. What did you want to be when you grew up?

This one is hard, there were a lot of things that I wanted to be, from a Scientest to an Astronaut.  With my eyesight, Astronaut was ruled out early on.  My analytical mind led me into Computer Science, Sports Medicine and Paramedicine.  I’ve pretty much have done everything I wanted to do, except to be an Astronaut.

6. What is the most interesting piece of trivia you know?

That there are actually lots of stupid laws on the books, including one that says an Ambulance cannot exceed 45 mph, and for every 1 mph over that limit, it must slow 5 mph.  So if an ambulance goes 54 mph, it must stop and start over.  Yes this exists in Illiniois, but is never enforced by our fine law enforement officers.

7. If you could live in any point in history what would it be and why?

I don’t think I can be happy anywhere expect in the future.  I would be too frustrated with how things used to be and know that as a society we are only getting better as we move into the future.

8. What is the most interesting job you have ever held?

Hmm, that is a hard one, I’ve had lots of jobs and enjoyed each and everyone of them, and they all taught me so much.  My first job was working as a paperboy, then a stockroom clerk at a Hardware Store.  Then a software engineer.  An Athletic Trainer, Computer Operator, Programmer, Paramedic, Instructor, Developer, Real Estate Agent.  I think what i liked about all of them where the challenges that I was presented with and how to overcome all of them.  I love having a problem and working to resolve that problem and interacting with people to achieve that success.

Continue the challange.

Now, for the next round of the game. Here are the eight people that I will encourage to keep the meme going.
